“Although daunting with a 4:00am pick up we readied ourselves with a litre of water and a pillow for the 3 hour journey to kings canyon. The first two hours were dark so we were able to sleep and our wonderful driver Jacob was a great driver … no bumps, no sudden stops! We were awoken about an hour out and Danny told us the plan for the day. Breakfast was great - the coffee good The canyon was awesome- we chose the creek walk and the helicopter ride with Vic which meant we weren’t as hot and sweaty as the Rim walkers. Jacob guided us on our trail -…”

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 469 reviews · 5 hours · from $140

“The trip was good and would like to have been able to see more in and around the Kata Tjuṯa I think there should be more guidance given about the walk to the lookout as it was quite challenging on the type of surface and not a lot is mentioned in the material about this aspect. Given the demographic of our bus there were certainly people who would not have been able to do it. Specifically there should be some guidelines around shoes that are appropriate for hiking”

“The Segway tour was really fun, and our guide, Nick, was very friendly. It was my first time riding a Segway, so I was a bit worried, but he taught us well and gave us time to practice, making it easy to learn. As we toured around Uluru, we stopped at various spots where he shared fascinating myths about the rock. Breakfast was plentiful, with coffee, tea, muffins, and cereal. We enjoyed our meal while watching the sunrise, which was absolutely stunning. If we had explored on foot, it would have been too hot. Choosing the Segway was definitely a great decision!”

Walked around Uluru day before using Uluru guide gps APP while nice it was not a patch on the detail and story telling by Rachel and using diagrams and pictures of the stories. Rachel is passionate caring for her group, engaged. It would recommend SEIT to anyone looking for a relaxed but informative with a small group.”

10.Kings Canyon Day Trip from Ayers Rock (Uluru)

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 380 reviews · from $247

Travel from Uluru to Watarrka National Park on a 13-hour AAT Kings tour with an early pickup, breakfast at Kings Creek Station, and a choice of the strenuous 6-kilometer Rim Walk or easier Creek Bed Walk. You’ll see the Garden of Eden, hear local stories, and stop for lunch at Kings Canyon Resort.

“The trip is a long day travelling around 600km in total taking 3 hours to get to kings canyon. The journey was worthwhile although a good degree of mobility and flexibility is required, particularly at the starting 500 steep and roughly carved steps no hand rails to start your walk. Although if you are less mobile you get the option for a shorter easier walk and more time in the kings canyon resort. Hayley provided excellent information and ensured the group remained safe at all time. Phil the driver was also excellent and added his own input.”

“In short the whole experience was fab and well worth the money…What stood out for us was the knowledge of the staff who explained the history of Ayers Rock or Uluru. Lastly thank you for the patience to show us all how to use the Segways. Not the easiest for some, especially my wife who has crashed pretty much everything she has owned but all did well and great fun whizzing around the rock stopping to understand the many different facts. Big thank you to the team !!!”
